Waaay too long (Again...)

  • Playing: Yoshi's Island DS (after having it for 5ish years)
  • Eating: There's food?!?! WHERE?? GIMMME FOOD!! OM NOM NOM!
  • Drinking: Mutiple Iced Coffees (to keep me awake)
AHHHHHHHHH why won't it let me change... oh right. Ok I'm sorted! (If you couldn't understand that, that was me trying to figure out the new layout for DA seeing as though I haven't been on for so long...)

Anyway, OMG hi! I won't say much because I have to go do more work but I thought I'd have a minor break to catch up with you guys!

I'm now in year 9, YAY, and get electives. Good, because I get to dump subjects I don't like and I can do extra ones I couldn't before, and bad, because I could only choose 2! In the end I decided on multimedia (which I'm doing at the moment) and media. Repeatative much???? Anyway, I'm pretty happy. Just bummed out for subjects like music, drama and dance that I also would've loved to do; but I had my reasons for choosing them. I'll have to upload my recent multimedia work later. We just did an "app button" of ourselves. SOO CUTE!! Also, media covers digital photography which is SOO my forte. How good is that??? Excellent if I do say so myself. And don't go thinking I ditched art and viscomm, because in ACE it's compolsary XD!

Also at school I have been asked to be one of the photographers for our yearbook this year. How awesome right?? The experience is so awesome! I got some awesome (have I awesomed you out yet??) shots of the athletics carnival the other week. I don't think I'll upload though because I'd need permission to publish the photos from the people I took them of... but I'll photocopy the pages my photos get into on the yearbook as a compromise.

And in the performing arts world, I am currently making a movie with Lauren entitled "What If". It's basically us saying "What if this happened" and then we play it out in our heads. (Would you kill me if you knew there was a twist??? The IT Crowd loves you!!!!) In other performing arts things; choir is going well, oh and I am thinking about going for a role in our school production "Anything Goes". Not too sure yet. I'm pretty loaded with my work....

So yeah, my current art life in a nutshell. It's going to be an enjoyable one this year.

I have come to the conclusion that I probably won't talk to you soon so I'll need another "sign off" message. (Here it goes...)
